In fact, there are permanent and open air art exhibitions, particularly in the summer. There are also two very important museums; one archeological and the other of plaster casts known as the ‘Bozzetti Museum’, one of its kind. This historical centre is also the favourite place for visitors and indeed local Italians to wine, dine in the excellent range of restaurants and trattoria’s or enjoy their evenings with a stroll to window shop in the many boutiques, admire the open air art exhibitions or relax, taking in the view and people in the square.
Pietrasanta can offer permanent or informal exhibition space to artists who wish to organise an event in this suggestive location. Marble carving courses are also available upon request.
